Privacy policy
TRI HUD is a Garmin Connect IQ data field from Falkster.com (San Francisco, California, USA). It collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere.
What TRI HUD reads
While an activity is running it reads what Garmin gives every data field: time, distance, speed, heart rate and power for the current leg, and which sport the leg is. It reads its own settings (your race plan, FTP and fuel numbers).
What it stores, and where
On your watch only: a small record of the current race (start time, current leg, leg times, power totals) and the fuel ledger (carbs and fluid logged, the next prompt), so a crash or a leg change doesn’t reset them. It is cleared when you save or discard the activity, and ignored after 20 hours.
Your activity file
TRI HUD writes the carbs and fluid you took into your activity file (as Connect IQ fields). That file is yours and syncs to Garmin Connect under Garmin’s privacy policy, like the rest of your activity.
What it never does
TRI HUD has no internet permission, no account and no server. It cannot send, sell or share anything, and we have no copy of your data.
Garmin
Garmin’s Connect IQ Store, Garmin Connect and your watch are covered by Garmin’s own privacy policy.
